The United States is our perennial home base. This is where Kent grew up! The US hosts a great many of our favorite folks, plus all kinds of amazing adventures. We’re just beginning to explore the expansive United States thoroughly, and the natural beauty we’ve seen so far is incredible!
We’ve made it our business to explore as many national, state and regional parks as possible. We’ve done four park-hopping Great American Road Trips so far – in 2014, 2015, 2020 and 2021. Our first US trail race took place in 2018 in North Dakota; we’ve now also raced in Utah and Arizona. Beginning in 2020, we spent almost two years based in the redwood forests of Northern California, and currently we are enjoying the life aloha in Hawaii.
