A tropical island paradise filled with great trails, friendly people and incredible underwater wildlife! One of our favorite countries, without a doubt: we have visited on four separate occasions – that’s more than any other place we haven’t lived.
Our first adventure involved a week on Cebu to celebrate our second wedding anniversary in 2014. We swam, we rode bikes, we climbed mountains (and waterfalls!) and had a complete blast.
We returned to run our first international race on Luzon in March 2018. We liked it so much that we returned for another race in the very same area February 2019. Much as we love Luzon (and Baguio specifically!), in April 2019 it was time to explore! Our third race in this fun-filled country took us to the highest peak in the Philippines: Mt. Apo on Mindanao island!
